In pneumatic transmission systems, a safety valve is a valve used to limit the maximum pressure of the circuit to prevent damage to pneumatic devices, equipment, and pipelines. When the air pressure exceeds the maximum limit pressure, the safety valve automatically opens for exhaust. When the air pressure drops below the maximum limit pressure, the safety valve automatically closes.
